2022 applications will become available March 15!! We are in the process of making a fillable online form.

Providing 1:1 service at Camp Arrowhead is a truly rewarding experience. If you will be entering 9th grade, 14 years or older by the end of summer 2022 and would like the opportunity to be an aid, please consider obtaining an application for the summer.

Having individuals spend 1:1 time with campers creates a fun-filled summer for everyone involved.  The friendships and connections you make with campers, peer aids and staff are long-lasting.  As an aid at Camp Arrowhead, you will have the opportunity to be a part of extraordinary events in the lives of many campers.

Aid Training

In addition to the application process all 1:1 Aids go through mandatory training prior to the start of camp.  During this time, the aids are given the opportunity to learn about people with disabilities and gain a better understanding about the population served at Camp Arrowhead.

Activities include: icebreakers, team building games, a trial day of Camp, general overview of various disabilities, a question/answer session and much more!

Interested in sending an aid with your camper?

At Camp Arrowhead we understand individuals may need more support than we can provide.  We are always open to having an aid attend with a camper as long as they fill out a CORI/SORI form and meet with the Director prior to attending.

Due to the COVID-19 virus Individuals who need full assistance in the bathroom or changing in and out of a bathing suit for water activities must attend with their own aid.

If you choose to send your own aid with your camper Camp Arrowhead would still like to provide a 1:1 to assist.  We find it important for the campers to have an aid who has been through all of our trainings to assist the aid who already knows the camper inside and out. Together they can assist the camper through the program while having different roles throughout the day.

If you intend to send your own aid please have the aid fill out our CORI and SORI form and send it to the Natick Recreation and Parks Department at least 3 weeks prior to their first day onsite.
